Why do teenagers post questions on here?

I don't understand why so many teenagers and preteens post all these silly questions on here about their "problems", etc.

This section is NOT for teenagers! This is for PARENTS of teenagers.

That is why there is a "Newborn and Baby" category, and "Toddler and Gradeschooler" category. Do you really think the newborns and babies are going to come here and ask questions? Do you really think the toddlers and kindergarteners are going to come here and talk about their "problems"? No! So why do the teens comes here?
That section is supposed to be for parents asking questions about their teenagers, etc, Not for teenagers asking stupid questions like "omg like like i just had unprotected sex am i pregnate?!?!??!" or "omg i like this guy like sooo much but i duno wat to do..HELP?!!?"

Take your problems somewhere else!

Teens on here are so annoying with their "problems". Almost every question is "omg am i pregnate like like omg wat should i do??!?!?!?!?"

Can't you guys read the resolved questions to answer your own questions which are almost identical? Or can't you use common sense?

some other very popular questions which are asked every day are "like like i want to have sex how do i do it???"

or

"omg i like really like dis guy what should i do?!???!?!"

Use common sense! Do what feels right! Follow your heart! Go with the flow! If you're pregnant, learn to use protection! Go to planned parenthood!

YES, it says "teens and preteens", but its not for teens! This is a place for PARENTS who have TEEN children. don't you notice that it's in the PARENTING section, NOT in the "entertainment/social/teen/etc etc etc" section.

there is the newborn and baby section. just because it says new born and baby doens't mean it's for babies. it's for parents with REAL problems and REAL questions NOT for little kids who ask the same silly questions over and over again.

Well I personally don't ask questions on here but it seems to me that your attacking the teenagers that do, basically implying they are ignorant and saying their problems don't matter. ("Take your problems somewhere else! They are not problems, anyhow!") Well I agree that there are SOME incredibly stupid questions on here and they should'nt even ask them at all regardless of the category. Your point is good just VERY misdirected. I'm assumming that your a parent of a teenager (unless you dont 'practice what you preach'). Well would u tell your son or daughter if they asked you something that their problems don't matter? That they should take it else where? Well maybe some teens don't know what category to turn to or anything to turn to so they just ask in a category stating what they are....teens and preteens. Maybe at first the category was meant for what you say it's meant for but teens have found comfort in this certain category. Maybe it's wrong that they ask questions on this particular category but just don't obess about it. There's bigger fish to fry in the world and I'm sure with that anger you can get invest in more important things then what categories are for on a free internet website for everyone. Sorry about the long answer I just wanted to get my point across.

Not this again. The topic is called "Teen and Preteen," there are teen and preteen parents, therefore teens and preteens have logical reasons to post here. If you want to bullshit that "teen parents aren't going to ask questions about sex" then I can bullshit right back. You have absolutely know way of knowing which teenagers here are parents and which ones aren't. Take your bullshit somewhere else.

I think its a good thing. Teens get the silly answers from their peers but they also get the advice from older people even parents of teens so that they have another form of reference. Also, parents can ask questions and get the perspective of a teen instead of another parent who would be thinking the same way. I think its an amazing dynamic that has developed.

First of all, how old are you? You posted a question just like every body else, so you should take your problems somewhere else.u sound like an adult who doesn't have a life. And by the way, where does it say that this is only for parents, cuz its really not.

Maybe they want a parent's perspective on their situation w/o having to ask their own parents....
Don't you think it would have been nice if you had someone to help you w/ your issues when you were a teen????????

And the main category is pregnancy and parenting.... not just parenting... most questions about sex lead to pregnancy!!!!
