If John Kerry were elected instead of Bush then:

1) a faster response during Katrina might have happened (Bush did a pretty poor job let's face it)

2) The assault weapons ban would probably be re-enacted

3) The Stem-Cell funding bill would have been signed into law

4) John Roberts would not be Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, probably, either Judith Rogers, or perhaps Ruth Bader Ginsburg or Harry Edwards would be Chief Justice. Sandra Day O'Conner would probably not retire.

5) A quicker response would probably have been made to the middle east crisis, for better or for worse, depending on whether you are pro-israel

6) Conservatives will argue that terrorists would be more likely to launch an attack on U.S. soil if Kerry were President, however, these are just claims.

7) A more aggressive policy towards China would probably be enacted, I believe that because Kerry is pro-Union, and Bush is pro-Business, Kerry would force China to crack down more on the re-evaluation of its currency and the taking of jobs from the U.S., esp. in the areas of manufacturing.

I believe overall, the U.S. would domestically be slightly better off with Kerry as President. Internationally, it is debatable - it's hard to say how Kerry would carry out the war in Iraq. However, I believe that the middle east conflict would not have escalated to the degree that it has in the past few weeks.

There would be over 100,000 people still alive, and none of our troops would have come home in body bags!

He wouldn't give 2 tax cuts to the rich, the first time that has been done in the history of the US! And Bush wants to cut or eliminate 141 programs for people on Medicare, the elderly and the poor to the tune of 85 Billion!

This guy only thinks of the rich! No wonder the rich get richer, then scream about redistribution of wealth! They get ALL of the breaks!

My dog could do a better job than George Bush.We would not be hopelessly in debt for a war that acheived nothing for Americans. Iraq was not even close to developing an atomic bomb.We attacked because of fabricated evidence. We are seen as war criminals because of atrocites committed in detention cells.Further, the state has given up its mandate to use taxes to help better the environment and for social purposes rather than for war profiteering.

Sadam Insane would be re-instated and he would try to kill Israel, America, The Free World, and the people of Iraq.
We would still have 3 dollar gas.
Iraq would become Vietnam.
We would want to elect a Republican in 08.
The Supreme Court would be packed with Liberal judges.
Our economy would be worse, since low military spending creates a recession.
Most people would not like him, too, as they treat Bush now.
The list of what-ifs is long.

ABSOLUTELY!!! We also probably wouldn't be fighting this war still and losing so many of our military men. Mine may not be the popular opinion but at least if Kerry were in office, we would have someone running our government with intelligence and some sort of public speaking skills.

Hard to say.

I mean, they both want to lower the Earth's population by about 80%... being "Bonesmen".

I think Kerry would have gone about it a differnt way though.

That's like asking a straight guy if he'd like to go to a gay bar or a Feminist bar full of man haters.

He doesn't want to go to either.

How would the world be different, it'd be a little different, If he pulled troops out of Iraq, they'd probably all be in Afghanistan and Iraq woulda went to sh...... Gas would be too expensive and we'd have a jack-hole in the white house who wasn't doing his job well. So it wouldn't be much different.
