All i remember about is that it had cartoons/comics in it and it was about rock and roll. Was not intended for children.

I would say National Lampoon also. One of the funniest ads ever was right after the Mary Jo Kopeckni tragedy with Ted Kennedy.

Kennedy's car had gone off a bridge with Mary Jo in it. He escaped she died. Lots of unanswered questions but his hopes of ever being President ended that night in Chappaquidick.

Anyway National Lampoon runs this ad showing a VW Bug on water (they float for a period of time before they go down) the caption was: If Ted Kennedy had been driving a Volkswagen he'd be President today!

The Kennedy's sued and the magazine was pulled. Copies are still around and worth hundreds.
