just wear comfortable clothes and shoes, wear your hair up too because it's gonna be a very busy day running around finding your classes and you wouldnt want to be uncomforable and fussing with your hair or wondering if people think your shirt's too small.

Well, since it's a private school don't you have your uniform? Other than that, dress up your uniform a little with some funky jewlery, lay low on the heavy make-up (you don't want to look like a poser OR slutty) and dress conservative enough for the teachers but cute enough people your age. A cute top, fav pair of jeans and your brand new kicks.
Most of all, have fun and TALK TO PEOPLE, don't wait for them to talk to you. Start making friends as soon as possible.
