True story:
When I was in sixth grade I had in incurable crush on my teacher. He was so tall and handsome. When I grew up and was vivacious in my early twenties, I saw him one day in an elevator downtown. Although I still recognized him, he was short, old and balding!
Moral of the story: There are years of experience between you and your teacher. It may be natural to have a crush on him/her, but to try to do anything about it is not appropriate.
