It will depend on the endurance of the rider and/or passenger. Motorcycling is much more strenuous than riding in a car. Having been on several long trips, I find that 300 miles (480 km) is a pretty good run. If you're comfortable in the saddle, stick with it a bit longer. If you get tired sooner, stop - for safety's sake. Enjoy!

me and a buddy of mine went 1000 miles in 24 hours I will NEVER do that again it took two days to recover if you do the math you only need a average of 41 mph so doing 65-75 on the highway from NY to Fla gives you plenty of time to gas up, eat, and make poo I would also like to say that it may be easier to do on a gold wing or big cruiser but on my R6 I do not recommend

My wife and I usually do 400~500 miles per day when we're out in the 'ride' mode. Contributing factors being weather, road conditions, highway/back road ratio, how many towns and their size that are traveled through.
But we've seen days that we did less than 100 while in the 'whoa-look-at-that!' mode. *lol*

My brother, and I, used to go to Bathurst, every Easter. We'd go at a nice brisk pace, but not racing pace, by any means ( stick to the limit, generally). The trip is , about 900k's, and we'd do it, with ease, and still have enough beans to get into the party, at the end of the day.
