i have age of empires ii age of kings and age of mythology. are expansion packs good as well?

Play the demo first. You can get it from fileplanet or gamespot or google it. I have AoE 1&2 and the expansions for both, but I didn't like the demo for AoE 3 so I didn't buy it. Age of Mythology was the same deal: Its a very similar game but I didn't really like the demo either.
