I really don't like when white people try to act black. I don't think black people really like to see a white person try to act black.. It's very obvious .Too bad people can't just be who they are.. It seems to me that most black people don't want to be associated with acting white. If a white and black person are really good friends they act or be themselves.. that's the bomb. But then someone will start hating and say something to ruin the friendship.

Wow the answer to this could come from such a long time ago. My opinion is that when white people ''act black'' it makes the black people put their guard down alittle for that person because they see that the white person obviously dosent think ''less'' of them like it was during slavery....and that theyre the ones in superior because they are being ''looked up to'' if you will. And I feel like only black people have a problem with other black people ''acting white'' because they feel betrayed. Like why would you wanna act like you are of a race that caused so much pain and damage to your ancestors (and in reality, you) during a certain period of time regardless of whether or not you were living then. Keep in mind, these feelings are all unconscious, its not like we all recognize them and stop to think about WHY we may feel a certain way about certain situations like that...Im no expert but I hope that helped :)

it is not that blacks cannot be white (e.g. physically) but the fact that social and cultural mores in the african-american society sometimes prevent an african-american from breaking the so-called "responsibilities" associated with "being black". Though these mores are evident, it is possible to "be white". This question also leads us to another quandry, namely the presence of the term 'being black" and "being white". Until our society can overcome the idea that a certain value system is associated with a particular race, we will not progress towards more unity, but indeed, more division.

You can't put a label to a personality. Idiots label. What is it to act black or white. I know many intelligent black people that are on top of their game - does that categorize them as uncle toms. And I also no plenty of whites that aren't worth the air they breathe - does that make them black.

People that take the time to categorize this have too much time on their hands and obviously lack the intelligence.
