I wanted Virginia to win actually, I felt she was more into it. But on the other end, Heather deserved to win as well, she was very determined from day 1.

Yes she did seem touchy feely with Rachel...But oh well lol. I just wanted Virginia to win, she could've had that, she let her nerves get to her, because it was the last and final challenge between the other contestant.

I wanted Virginia to win, and was also extremely disappointed when she didn't. She was more creative and also more into it than anyone else. Unfortunately, she made a lot of mistakes tonight.
First off was her team choice. Tom didn't know what he was doing and refused to do anything Virginia said, even going as far as standing around and looking stupid after being given an order. Giacomo seemed like he really didn't know what was going on. Keith was the only person she picked with talent.
Second, was the fact that right off the bat she let them know that they had no talent, and the only reason that she picked them was to see what she could do with them. After being told something like that, I honestly don't blame them for disrespecting her, but at the same time, I feel that the people she chose had sabatoged her efforts.
Third occurred during service when a table sent back an entree due to the amount of oil on the plate and requested a replacement of the same dish, and she had absolutely nothing to give them. At all. She should have thought ahead and had at least 15 extra of everything that could be cooked incase someone burned the food and had to start over.
At the beginning of the show, Heather was my favorite. I just loved how passionate she was about cooking. After seeing her backstab her team-mates and talk trash about them behind their backs, I hoped that she wouldn't win. Its one thing to be competitive, but its another thing to go against people you are supposed to be working with.
While she did choose a good team, she had a lot of problems also.
First off was the way she decorated the resturant. While I do understand that it was designed to be as a family resturant, the design itself seemed to be immature.
Secondly, was the fact that she was in such a hurry to get food out that she neglected to check the quality of the food. Its one thing to get the food out in a timely manner, but its another thing to make sure that the food is up to the standard of what you expect your resturant to live up to. At least Virginia took the time to make sure the food was up to par (except for one mistake.)

All Virginia had to do was run that Kitchen tonight and it would have been hers. She made a huge error in picking Giacomo over Garrett, She could have made Garrett do it right, Giacomo just had no skills, and Tom? Due needed to be put in front of a moving train, Keith was the only one on her team that had any skills. But all in all, had she been a little more demanding right from guest #1 she would have won. She had the palate. She had style (her side of the restaurant actually looked interesting) it should have been hers.
Heather ran the kitchen so much better, but everything just seemed so boring and safe. I really don't see her making a million dollar restaurant prosper. A hot dog cart yes... restaurant no.
Gordon made the right choice based on Tonights performance, but I think Virginia could be trained how to "own" that Kitchen better then Heather can be trained to have a gourmet palate.
Side note- anyone else think Heather was a lesbian? She seemed really happy to see Rachel, I mean really happy.

virginia made a very stupid mistake in her choice to run her kitchen. why oh why would anyone choose the weak ones and then tell them they were chosen because they are weak. that was suicide for her. heather deserved to win based on that crucial mistake alone. heather was easier to tolerate. virginia was grating on my last nerve. and about her palate, well she discovered the white beans on the rack, she would have chose potatoes too, had she not discovered the secret ingredient. so she ran with her discovery. credit for a great palate isnt due to her. glad heather won!

Heather was the only one out of ALL of them that deserved it. If you remember, she single handedly revived the blue team. Virginia had a lot of good things going for her, but not as much as Heather. Of course she's a lesbian, that was obvious from the beginning, but has nothing to do with anything.
