Ok everyone i'm in a pickle i threw an idea for a redesign of a product out to a few people and now for some reason I have larger companies wanting me to demo this product. I have all the plans to build it just not the material to build it. My question is how do I raise the capital for materials that will be around $2,300.?
Yes credit sucks thanks to the exwife.
And yes one company is ready to negotiate a deal if product does what I say it can.

what is the product? I may be willing to front the capital in exchange for a percentage of the profit.

You should probably just tell the company that you would love to build a demo for them, but that you don't have the money, and if they would lend or advance it to you you could give them some kind of guarantee. Other than that you could sell your car, or something. You'll figure something out.
