Hello,
The alarm keeps going off on my Sorento. I believe it is that my keyless remote entry needs a new battery. Where can I find one of those (12 V) and are they covered under Kia's warranty?

Also, my side step bar is loose. I looked under the car to tighten the bolt but it is housed under something and I cannot get to it. Any suggestions about tightening the bar or if this is covered under the warranty?

Thank you!

if your keyless remote battery is bad they will not change it under warranty but should change it none the less. as with your your side step that should be covered if you have a bumper to bumper warranty let them do the work good luck on both

Keyless get entry to relies upon on ability door locks. in the adventure that your Escort has them, you will get it, if no longer, you pays extra for the areas to make the locks into ability locks. The distant starter itself would nicely be self-put in, yet for the couple of hundred greenbacks, put in, for a standard unit, why no longer get it professionally put in so which you have a labour guarantee? The kit to make non-ability door locks into ability locks runs $50 to $one hundred (areas purely). And specific, there are distant starters for universal transmission autos, and there have been for an prolonged time.

everything is still covered by warranty on this car,,don't let anyone mess with it,,or it may make your warranty void on it,,take it back to the dealer,,and let them repair it,,they are good at doing this kind of work because they sell and service the vehicles they sell,,as long as you have a warranty on it,,use it to your advantage,,this is money you will save,,i hope this help,s.
