Why not? People love horror films, snakes are one of most people's worst nightmares, and the idea of being trapped in a steel tube, several hours from any possible escape, with hundreds of them on the loose, is the stuff of serious HORROR!
Not my cup of tea, I admit, but I'm guessing it will be BIG!
As for the title, yes, it is VERY naff, but people are stupid, so the title makes it very clear what the film they are going to see is all about! No one can come out complaining that the film was all about snakes on a plane, and if they had known that before, then they would never have gone to see it.

I think it's gonna be a fun end to summer! C'mon, it's not like it's supposed to be a serious melodrama for pete's sake! Just a few hours of escape!

And a lot of people must be wanting to see it. This site http://www.cafepress.com/buy/snakes+on+a+plane?pid=5720193 has over 1400 designs on t-shirts and things! They've been selling like hotcakes! Can you imagine? Over 1400 designs on this one site and the movie hasn't even hit theaters yet?!? I personally think they're gonna gross huge bucks this weekend.

I'm definitely gonna go see it!

There will be a spoof version of this film starring Charlie Sheen called 'FROGS ON A TRAIN' about a group of french foreign exchange students coming to the UK via the channel tunnel when a leak lets in sea water with deadly frogs and jelly fish.

Yes funny enough we were just complimenting the originality of the title last night when we saw the trailer. I think nthe only thing saving it from being straight to dvd is Samuel L Jackson's presence, but why? It's not like he needs the money or the kudos.

I thought this movie would probably be a classic if the switched the genre to comedy. A few comedy lines and a musical snake number at the end...I would watch it.

My son and about 5 of his friends went to see the 4pm show today; the theater was PACKED! They said people were having a blast! This is bound to be a campy new classic....they actually applauded at the end!

All of you guys are stupid to be judging this movie just because it's title is Snakes on a Plane.

Let me ask all of you questions...did you ever see the movie?!

No, none of you have!

So why don't all of you shut up, watch the movie, and tell us what you think afterwards...instead of jumping to conclusions.

call American airlines. call now. you need to plan forward whilst traveling with any sort of animal. each and every airline has diverse rules. remember you need to maintain the snake on the marvelous temperature, so he can no longer holiday with your luggage. solid success
