If America is the Big Melting Pot, college is the Big Fondu Pot. Everything and everybody is together. You network easily, meet all sorts of new and interesting people, and learn so many great things. College culture is a culture of enrichment. People are learning what they really are, what they are really good at (what they aren't so good at), etc. Everything you do, from your first bewildered day your freshman year, to lunch across the street, to asking for notes in your psychology class, to commencing on to degreed life, it is all a learning experience. I wouldn't give it up for anything.

I don't sleep, eat or do anything for myself. I'm totally engrossed in making ends meet and getting good grades. Some parents support their students' education, but I get very little of that. It's fun, but completely stressful and confusing at times.
Good luck
