Well, I'm hoping you just made a reference to something others know as a normal idiom.
For me, though, I am feeling a bit weird. You see, my dog Sam encountered his first lobster about a month ago. I picked the lobster out of the box, placed it down in front of him on cabinet, and set about to boiling the water. Sam sees these antennae flailing around, moves forward, and gets a rather large (albeit pinned) claw waved at his face. Sam is a large, rather confident and terribly intelligent border collie. Barking ensued, the lobster moved backwards, Sam inched forward, and in 2 shakes of a lamb's tail had that lobster in his mouth taking off for the hall. After I died of laughter, I found them advancing and retreating to/from each other in perfect ballet moves in the front hall. Well, I scooped up the lobster, took him in to the kitchen washed that sucker well, and plopped him into the boiling water. Sam just looked crestfallen. Until I brough another box into the house. His ears perked up as he heard distinct clicking and I know just what was going on in his mind "ahah! Another new toy for me!"

What's a lobsterback?
I know Lobsters were nicknames for the soldiers used by the British because of their red jackets. But not lobsterbacks.
