I'm going through the same thing.. But you know, if you eat a little icecream and relax, you will get over it in no time!
Radiation poisoning isn't too bad to live with.. I mean, sure you're sterile and sure no one may ever love you because you're basically a toxic human, but that doesn't mean you need to live your life so sheltered! Get out there and tell the world who you are!
And if you can help it, stop playing in nuclear waste.. Because I know I can't! =)

I would freak out and start beating the hell out of everyone around me. After that happened, I would probably settle down with a bottle of single malt scotch, and just relax and drown my sorrows away in booze.
