My personal least favorites are:
1. Do you believe in evolution? or some variation like Did we come from monkeys?
2. Is Mars coming close to the Earth on August 3rd?
3. Did we really land on the moon?
4. Is the Universe expanding? What is it expanding into?

I mean I'm just making a joke here and I'm all for answering peoples questions and the free exchange of information and all that but it would be nice to hear so new questions and not the same ones over and over, you know?

#3!
You are right. The questions you mention are really boring. But I am most tired of #3, Did we land on the moon.

#4 is a speculation and may be interesting to think about for someone.

#2 is a silly mistake based on old information and misinterpretation of material laying around in the Internet, and I can understand that cuz, there is a lot of old stuff laying around in my room! hahaha.

#1 is mostly used to start arguments and is a variation of 'Let's you and him fight.' which is just a silly activity of people who enjoy watching the havoc they can cause, like a kind of vandalism or graffiti.

#3 shows such a deep ignorance and lack of respect for everybody involved in the effort to go to the Moon that I feel sorry for them.

;-D NASA is far from perfect. As if 'O' rings would last forever! Or if a chunk of foam would not hurt the wing structure if it came off at 500 mph. Duh! Some engineer said 'No problem.' and they never tested it! (Until after, when the foam knocked a crack in the wing.)

I have not been on this forum long enough to have a least favorite category of questions. But if I had to make up a category out of thin blue air, I would say that the person who created this thread made a pretty good list.

oooh good ones..
and there's

Is there like a meteor shower tonight?
Is pluto a planet (good question the first time, but now it's overkill)

Have to say my favorite so far was If an astronaut farts in space can he smell it.

Oh how to become an astronaut has also been asked a million times.

And anything that should first be asked on snopes.

the ones asked that have no scientific basis ( 3 of your 4 do and yes the repetition gets boring but at least they are valid ) THE WORST are things that seem to have no basis at all but to list them would set me up for nasty e-mails ( if religion is included in any form then it goes on MY list ) ( GREAT one e-mail on evolution already i seem to have a stalker perhaps it was the times i used the term BIBLE SPAMMER - got a violation also )

I see the "what came first, the chicken or the egg?" question every time I come on here. Wish people would get more original.

I would add the incredibly easy straight computation do my homework for me kind of question. If you can't figure out the process that's one thing, but being too lazy to use the calculator built into Windows is sad.

All of the above, from everybody.

I, personally, am *real* tired of the "What is the value of 0/0" kinds of questions.

Those are certainly on my list too, especially the Mars one. I could also live without "What happens if you're traveling at the speed of light and turn on your headlights?"
