u need to see a doctor. i had a friend who was just like that. they evaluated how he sleeps...he spent a night at their sleep lab. they monitor ur brain wave patterns, movements u make at night, etc. there's lots of reasons why people wake up still tired, but for my friend, he involuntarily, kind of wakes himself up multiple times during the night by the movement of his leg. i guess his leg kinda jerks a little, which disturbs his brain wave patterns and only wakes him up partially...so he doesn't notice it...he just drops from a deep sleep to "light" sleeping mode. they gave him a pill that helped him out...didn't make things perfect but it made things better.

Depending on how old you are. Normal people do not sleep 9 to l0 hrs. a day or night and feel tired during the day. If you are bored or sick and sleep so long see a Doctor. You may have Sugar Diabetes or something else that is causing your tiredness. They have studies at many Hospitals that check for sleep Apnea, Or your Doctor can refer you to a specialist. Be sure you tell him about being tired during the day after sleeping 9 to l0 hrs.

Try sleeping less. Seems silly, but you could be oversleeping. Normally people need only 6-8 hours of sleep each night. 9-10 just sounds a bit excessive.

I have heard that getting too much sleep during the night can make you tired during the day. Try just 8 hours of sleep. Set your alarm clock and don't push the snooze button.

Try to get some exercise. It helps to keep you active, and the energy seems to multiply after a while. Don't result to caffine though because that can be bad for your health. The best I can advise is to get more exercise into your daily schedule. And eat healthy as well. Don't over sleep either.
