Here are my thoughts:
1) change babies (for those with babies)
2) use the toilet
3) grooming
4) "monthlies" maintenance
Btw, since we can't stand up to pee, we have to do it the long way... make sure the purse is hung securely, pull down pants/skirt/dress, struggle with panty hose, etc. Some of us are in there doing monthlies maintenance. Not to mention, some ladies have kids and they have to go, too. That's why the ladies' room is busier than the men's room.
Once, after a concert, I had to PEEEE! We went to a restaurant afterward, I walked fast to the bathroom, opened the door, and totally embarrassed a man at the urinal. I quickly exited, "Oh I'm so sorry!" LOL, it was embarrassing for me too! I had to go so bad, I didn't check the door ("Men" "Women") well enough!

EEWWW! I never want to go to a public restroom. I will go thrity times before I leave the house just to avoid it.
That would be my worst nightmare, Id be sound asleep and next thing I know I awake in a walmart bathroom. Oh the horror could you even imagine?

Its kind of like going before you leave the house. We don't want to get to shopping have to stop find the bathroom then start all over! Its not very efficient, lol.
Also, women usually go more than men anyway. For some reason walking around makes us have to go more often, lol.

Ever had a baby? Bladders don't seem to last as long after having a baby. One of the pitfalls of being a mom.

oh i totally don't. i will avoid a store bathroom as much as i can and only go in there if i REALLY have to go!!! i would much rather wait than go in a public restroom.

They have to go check theirselves out in the mirror to make sure they look perfect in their opinion or look decent enough to be walking around the store and when they are satisfyed with their look...then they will go shopping

i usually go to check my makeup or something. but sometimes, hey i just gotta go. why do you wonder? go ponder on more useful things, like why are you wasting time asking strange questions when you could be in bed sleeping.
