The new Tilt a Whirls are different from the older models. Older models are ground- mounted, which means the center of the ride comes off a trailer, and the ride is assembled around it by leveling it and all the other pieces one at a time. Newer models are trailer-mounted, where the center and some pieces are attached to the trailer- less work for set-up-fewer pieces to move and leveling is easier. Newer models have more control over the rider. Individual cars can be manipulated to make them spin faster or more, but for the most part, it's just gravity. Newer models are lighter, so they spin faster.
