This is very hard in the western world. You will find that a lot of people who act and dress rich are penniless, and vice versa. Forget about nice shoes and a Mercedes, I have both, and I'm not rich. But there is one thing which all those who are well to do share: They are cautious with their money, and don't like spending it on useless things. That's how you get rich in the first place: You try to keep your money. So, even if you meet someone who isn't rich yet but acts wisely with money, chances are you've just met someone who may be rich some day.

Telling a rich man from a poor man is easy. A rich man brags about how much money he spent for something, such as " I got this painting for 50,000$" But a poor man would brag about how little money he paid for something, such as " I got these jeans for 2$"
