2 suitcases equalling up to 50lbs each. I made the mistake and packed one big one that weighed over 100 and had to pay an extra $80 :(

By the way- enjoy your trip and be safe!! I'm sure you've seen all over the news, DO NOT pack anything liquid in your carry-on! No toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, ANYTHING. You'll save yourself a lot of hassel if you just buy it when you get there. Good luck!

Domestic flights in India allow you baggage of up to 20kgs, and 10kg as hand-baggage. International flights allow you the same, unless the ticket has been purchased from abroad, in which case you could get up to 40kgs of checked-in baggage and 10kgs of carry-on.

Now with the new restrictions, it is best to confirm with the airline or ticketing agent as to current scene.

This can change from time to time and air line to air line. It is best to check with the air line you are going to use.

Check for best deal on Internet, if you need to carry lots of things.

You can always ship stuff by carrier like trucking cos. US post, FedEx, UPS.........
