honestly, even if i had no other reason, it weould be that they could not have f*cked up as badly as bush has. Hillary hasn't run yet, and I will wiat and see what her platform is in 2008 if she does before saying whether i would vote for her and how she would be better. anyway, some of the reasons why i voted for kerry and why the country would be better:

-he would have cut back the restrictions on stem cell research
-he would have actually addressed the issue of global warming instead of brushing it aside; maybe he wouldn't have actually been able to do much, but acknowledging the issue is still further along than we are now
-he would not be in the pocket of religious conservatives as Bush is. Having religious conservatives as his base means that he has to throw them political bones (like gay marriage and stem cell restrictions) which at best distract attention from real crises and at worst actively harm society.
-having Kerry as prez would undoubtedly have improved american relations with most of the rest of the world. bush has shown too much contempt for the opinion of the world to be an effective international leader anymore.

these are the only ones that i can think of that would undoubtedly have occurred and made america a better place had kerry been elected. there are many others issues that it is questionable about whether they would have happened (such as a universal health care system) or are debatable about whether they would have improved america's situation (kerry putting liberal judges on the SC). Personally I think this would be better for the country, but I know that it is a controversial opinion.

There were a lot of reasons to vote for kerry in 04 and a lot of reasons to do so again in 08. Supporting kerry is more than just pointing to the horrible job bush is doing, but to be honest, nobody has prsented more evidence that kerry was the better choice in 04 than bush himself has.

Sorry I can't support your question with a positive comment for I don't see how Hillary or Kerry would do anything to make our country better. About the only thing Bush has done really well is our economy...he gets a bad wrap for everything but our economy is in good shape. That is most likely due to tax cuts and that won't happen with Hillary or Kerry....so in other words we'd have the same foriegn issues and a bad economy - with them.

I don't think we could benefit from either of those two...one because hillary is just a B'tch. She tends to agree with whoever its looking good with at the time. When Bush first said we would go to war after 9/11 she was all for it and now she's saying no because of her "fans"...Kerry is a joke! I shouldn't even have to explain that! It's obvious. He needs to move to Iraq or somewhere.

I'm not against a woman president, unless that woman is Hillary Clinton!

I'm not a fan of anyone who's a member of "The Order of Death" (Also known as "Skull And Bones")... and wants to lower the Earth's population by about 80% (See: George Guidstones).

So, I wouldn't want either of them.

I think people need to do more research for who they're voting for instead of voting the party line. This isn't some popularity contest or beauty contest we're doing here.. we're talking about people who are in charge of our military. (Too bad people don't pay any real attention to the people in charge of passing our laws, like the Senate or The House of Congress.)

Everyone treats the presidency like it's an elected dictator. Of coarse it's becoming that way now... because people allow it to behave that way.

I wouldn't vote for either of them, not because I'm a hardcore Republican, but because of Kerry's anti-American attitude towards past wars. He was in Vietnam, yet condemned our vetrans. Hillary Clinton is just a little too power hungry. I think she'd take the U.S. down the drains because she'd withdraw us from being of any financial help to other countries. Let's face, one of the reasons we are the most powerful nation on Earth is because we are not only capable of going to war, but we are generous with the countries who need our assistance.

Umm... there is no reason for them to be in.

Kerry would change his policy every other day, as he does so now.

Hilary would only send this country into ruin by isolating us from all conflicts, like pre-WWII. Or she would just point out how people are wrong and then give no solution (Hey! That's what she does now.)
