There's all kinds of things you can do. Since you've mentioned that you're tired of "playing guitar all the time by yourself," it seems that you'd be interested in something you can do with other people. When you return to high school at the end of the summer (I'm going to assume you live in the United States) I'd recommend looking at the extracurricular activities your school offers. You'll probably be able to find something interesting; you could try to join the school band or try out for a play. Ask your friends and acquaintances what they like to do; I'm sure they'll have some ideas for things you can do together.
One specific hobby that's very easy to get into is playing video games. There's lots of good games out there, and a single used game can last a long, long time. There are few things that are as fun and exciting as a 4-player match of Super Smash Bros. Melee. Role-playing games, such as Final Fantasy X, offer epic stories that rival some of Hollywood's best efforts, and a $30 game can last thirty times as long as a movie that costs $9.50 a ticket.
Another thing I like to do is read. A lot of the books that get pushed on students in school aren't the kind of stories that students actually like, and having to study a story can take all the fun out of reading it. There's a reason the Harry Potter novels became very popular, and it's not just marketing hype. The books are actually fun to read! Some other books I'd recommend are _Ender's Game_ by Orson Scott Card and _Mort_ by Terry Pratchett. I also love to read webcomics. "8-Bit Theater" (www.nuklearpower.com) is one of the more well-known ones.
Here's a rather offbeat idea: make your own movie. Digital television cameras and video editing software are cheap enough that your parents might be willing to consider getting them to make videos of various events (birthdays, graduations, etc.) if they don't already have one. Once you have the equipment, all you need are a few friends to serve as actors, a story to tell, and a lot of free time. If nothing else, you could always record yourself playing guitar and put it on the Internet.
Some people may suggest taking up a sport or learning martial arts of some kind. I don't have any experience with that, so I can't say if it is a good idea or not, but it's another thing to consider.
Basically, just try anything you can think of and see what sticks. Eventually, you'll find your own special way to waste time. After all, isn't that what it's there for?

If you've got some serious time and money, then you should learn to fly. I am 18, and have been flying for almost a year now and it is really great. you might need to be 16 to get your pilots liscense, but I think that you can still take lessons now. I have been flying on average 3 times a week all summer, except on vacation and its really a great use of my time, I highly reccomend you at least go for a demo flight to see if you like it or not. Its also a total chick magnet, being able to say that your a pilot.

FORM A BAND AND THEN GET OUT AND PLAY GIGS. Just network around for people who want to play the same music as you do and want to rehearse/gig as much as you do. Then start off with charity/benefit fundraisers or just ANY gigs where you can go and get stage time. A good way to find other players is to call up music teachers who teach the instruments(bass, drums etc). As long as you know how to play, why not go out and play for people and give them joy?

Tae Kwon Do is great. I was taught by a woman who was a musician in her younger days. There's a real correlation between the way your mind wraps itself around music and how it works in conjunction with your body in a martial art. If you're interested in TKD, try the American Taekwondo Association (ATA). Their url is below.
