me, there are a few dreams that i've had years ago that i still remember almost as if I just woke up. what about you? do you usually remember them? if so, for how long?
do you think they mean something? whether it's the present, past or future that you're seeing, literally or through symbols?
some things i've heard seem pretty believable on that one, but i still think it's the imagination, or, sometimes, it could be a higher power telling you to slow down a bit or speed it up? who knows?

i just like to hear what people say about them...

:) usually, IF i remember a dream, it's only for a little bit. once i get going in the morning, it vanishes...

i heard or read somewhere once that if you remember your dreams, it means you're not sleeping well... any thoughts on that, as well?

I rarely remember dreams, but when I do I try to see if there is a message in there, and if my Higher Power is trying to let me see something about my life that my conscious self is unaware.

Also, my dreams don't often make sense (e.g. people from one area of the country where I lived interacting in a totally different area of the country where I lived, or people I've known from one part of the country interacting with people I've known from another part of the country, but where there is no connection that I know of between those people/groups).

Hmmmm... also, most of the dreams I do remember seem to be "in color" in a way, yet are kind of like the viewing part of the dream is in sepia tones (if you know what I mean). When I do dream only "in color" it usually is particularly good or bad.

Voices, well RARELY mine, but I do hear other people. My communications to others seem as though they understand what I am thinking or what I would say, so I rarely hear my own voice. When I do hear myself speaking in a dream, it usually is when there is a fair amount of emotion involved.

I hope this is the kind of info you are looking for!

I think dreams come in all forms, replays of the day, some past experience, a future outlook and yes even spiritual.
I once had a dream where I sat in a church and in front of me read a sign that had only two words "Commensurate Serenia" I awoke and remembered these words which had no meaning to me but looked them up only to feel a sense of enlightenment since I took the word "Serenia" to mean: a place of serenity.
At that time in my life I was going through much stress and change in direction in life, I never forgot this dream since it also felt as if it really happened somewhere in a place that really exists, it was so atmospheric.

I often remember the dreams I have just before waking, but as often forget them once I'm up. Sometimes I awake in the night to a dream, and these are ones that stay with me, coming out of deeper sleep it seems. It depends on the intensity of the dream and what it's about if I'll remember it very long. I've had dreams about my ex-wives, about my mother who died recently, my father who died some years ago, and many others that have stayed with me for days or weeks. A few times I've dreamed of getting killed. Of course, I woke up before I did. I let that one alone. I tend to forget dreams, I don't find deep meaning in them usually, and I'm at an age where I forget what it was I wanted to get in room I just entered. I have a couple books on dream interpretation but mine must be so mundane that they don't fit the jazzy patterns of the dream merchants. Enjoy your sleep.

I think dreams are our subconscious mind processing mostly current events and sometimes past experiences we have had along with our emotions. I usually forget mine fairly soon after waking up. Many years ago I had a scary dream and I still vagely remember it because as a child I got so scared from it and I was very impressionable at so young an age. Sometimes I have a scary dream now but I don't remember it like I did that one. Interesting.
