Machine is 4 1/2"x7", chrome plated. It has 2 wheels that use a stylus. It has 10 stamped on the back and a bradded plate on the front that says A. H. Barber C S Co. 1889.

I have done extensive searches on the internet. The specific company isn't mentioned in any articles I've found on antique adding machines or Chicago history.

Sounds like a really ancient piece of office equipment to me. Maybe someone who handles antiques would know what it's worth, or you might be able to look up the history of the company.
