i'd like to know what you think.
me- i thought wallace's body language and patronizing tone made for one of the most unprofessional, most biased peice of journalism i've seen and only reinforces the u.s. image of a population that is ignorant and self-righteous.

i give props to ahmmedinejad- he's trying to be diplomatic- and he's right. the u.s. needs to tone it down a bit. as the saying goes, "you get more flies with honey than vinegar"

Mike Wallace was HORRIBLE. He was rude, agressive, and flippant. The Iranian president, on the other hand, seemed articulate, in control, and relaxed. He smiled a lot. I think he made a good point about Jesus Christ = Peace.

A "veteran" news man like Wallace should have learned some patience by this point in his career. Now the Iranians will show this tape in Iran and everyone will think we're ALL rude, hot tempered, impatient agressors. It's unfortunate that he represented us that way.

I agree that Mike Wallace's interview wasn't typical of his usual professionalism. But Ahmedinejad was a very difficult interviewee. First of all, it was all in translation, so Mike Wallace's hard-hitting questions lost some of their power in translation. And then, of course, Ahmedinejad did not answer his questions! He just rambled on about whatever he wanted to say. There was no rapport between the two men, just thinly veiled hostility.
It was one of the most uncomfortable interviews I've seen in a long time.

I've always found his integrity as a journalist to be questionable but I now see him as an idiot. I was in shock as I watched and thought if we wanted to see a joke we would have watch Da Ali G.

Mr. Wallace stopped being important years ago when he lied about Vietnam! I refused to watch anything that he does now.
