The general public (not harcore PJ fans) would probably say "Ten" for the big commercial arena rock anthems.
However among us PJ fans, a frequent view I've heard expressed that it was, No Code - which I think is Eddie Vedder's masterpiece, it was really the last album where he wrote all of the lyrics (or maybe it was Yield) and was the main creative force. A lot of the songs on it have a really emotional vibe, and the lyrics are especially thought-provoking.
Anyways, a few years ago, I thought the best album was "Vitalogy" or "Vs.". Actually with a band as good as Pearl Jam you really can't go wrong with any choice!

I was born in 91 and am still addicted to this CD.
A lot of song from the early CD's are still used on the newer CD's.

Minkus: I would consider myself to be a "hardcore" PJ fan (certainly not casual... I even flew all the way out to the Gorge to see them, and I live on the east coast) and I absolutely HATE No Code, and Yield to a lesser extent.

the new album is my favorite. ten and yield are both awesome too, and all the others have some great songs, its hard to pick. the new cd i can listen to straight through over and over, so i guess thats my pick.

Ten but they are all pretty good.
P.S. I got tickets to them playing with U2 in december of this year in honolulu! What a sweet concert that is going to be!!

ooo thats a toughy. well i personally couldnt choose my favorite or tell you the best album...they are all soo good.
but the most popular is obviously ten.

I like Ten, and Vs would be a close 2nd.
Their old stuff will always be legendary.
