I would give up romantic love. As long as I have my family and my freedom, that's all I need. If I at least got to experience the romantic love before I lost it, I could live with that, but my family and freedom are of the utmost importance.

I can never give up freedom. then next would be my family. because of these two things I am allowed to love whom I wish to in the way that i want to openly. I dont think its the greatest that you defined romantic love as only being between a man and a woman though.

It would have to be romantic love. I would still enjoy love from my family. Not the same but still a form of love. Freedom.......I could give up only if I was guaranteed the other two. Family I could never give up. Period.

If you never had it, can't give it up, right? Some people never had freedom, some: a decent relationship, and some have been orphans all their lives. For those who've had all three, I think giving up family is easier to do, if family never functioned as so. (thus: the dysfunctional family). Relationships: can't live with 'em, can't live w/o 'em. Remember that saying? Freedom? Who doesn't sacrifice some of their freedom for the price of security? That's a hard one to answer.

The one I would give up first would be Freedom. I figure captivity is more doable with the love of a family and a spouse. Freedom would be useless without them.

I would give up Romantic Love. it's the only thing that depends on you, and the other person.
Family depends on you and many others,
Freedom does not depend you, it depends on the society you live in.

romantic love.
lack of freedom can have serious physical consequences, a family you're usually brought up in so the bonds are older, emotional.
romantic love is one of the lighter things in life, cherry on the cake

Absolutely, without any doubt, romantic love. And freedom is a must. Freedom is like your health, nothing else matters if you don't have it.
