That is a good questions.
United States have a lot of enemies yes, but thats is because USA always want to be the best society, the big and powerful country/nation and of course this country had get along with that doing a lot of bad stuff.
1. United states always, always get involve in foreigh countries problems.
2. Always want to control the world
3. want to control the economy
and many other stuff. Many of this are the cause of why United States have so many enemies. One good example is Bin Ladden who before being the most wanted person by the United States, was a good Friend of this Nation who actually help in some way the USA during the vietnam war.
Anyways The UNITED STATES GAIN ITS ENEMIES AND ITS GOING TO BE GAINING MORE AND MORE AND THERE WILL BE A DAY WHEN SOMETHING BAD ITS GONNA HAPPEN TO THIS COUNTRY. BUT WHAT CAN THE PEOPLE DO, THE ANSWER IS NOTHING BECAUSE EVEN IF WE DONT WANT WARS AND WE SPEAK OUT THE PRESIDENT/GOVERMENT IS NOT GONNA LISTEN TO US. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ANALIZE THE ISSUE IN IRAQ.

The best, greatest and most sucessful is always hated. McDonalds is hated, but what about Wendy's? How come no one ever trashes a Carls Jr? Think of the one sports team you hate. I'll bet that team has an excellent record, and wins many championships.
Terrorism didn't start in the 1980s with Iranians. Jeez. Define terrorism, and you'll (hopefully) understand terrorism has been around since at least the Middle Ages.

To some countries we're just a bunch of fat spoiled rich snobs. It doesn't really help any either by trying to go to third world countries and making them first world countries. Some countires (believe it or not) like the way they are living and don't want to change, by trying to make them, pisses them off. Also it would be a good idea if people wouldn't point fingers at a certain race every time something happens to them. We have no idea really who was responsible for 9/11. They didn't really look into it, they just went with the Presiden's word.

Why doesn't anyone realize that is is always to benefit businesses that we go to war? It's not the president, or Congress. It is the very big, very behind-the-scenes businesses that start the wars. This has been true since the "Holy Crusades". That one was started by the Catholic Church so they could lay claim to the wealth that was held by the "heretic" peoples. Stop blaming people like Bush and start looking at America's business practices. They have our government in their pockets and we the people have let them. Just as we are fighting the goverments of the other countries, not the people, so are those countries fighting our "government", not us.

for all of you complaining about BUSH, youre idiots ( I dont like bullshit bush ) BUT sticking our noses in other peoples business started a while ago not just 4 or 6 yrs ago. I mean people were trying to hand bin laden over to clinton for months, he ignored it so there for 9/11 is his responsibility but getting his dick sucked was more important.
I see it this way. OUR COUNTRY needs to stop helping everyone else but us. WE NEED to be first for the next 30 yrs to fix our declining country.

North Korea and Iran are the united states's maximum outspoken enemies. Russia and China are not truly enemies when you consider that they prefer to apply the united states as a figuring out to purchase and promoting better 1/2 to augment themselves. the united states's maximum deadly enemy, inspite of the undeniable fact that, is itself. we've more effective to worry from the hubris of our personal politicians than from any threat by technique of a overseas power.

America is a symbol, and a very powerful nation. It is blamed by powerless people for their wretched fates. Are they jealous? What can they do to help themselves? Why does not America help them, they wonder. But who is to say that America is supposed to take on the weight of the world to itself? Such burden even for a powerful nation! And even for all the Western world... such a weight!
By killing themselves with car bombs to kill American soldiers, they are left with an impression of power and of being able to do something good for their people. Alas, they bring only more death and destruction, the poor fools.
It's a very complicated matter.

It has to do with arrogance, self-importance and a lack of respect and tolerance for countries who's lifestyles and beliefs run contradictory to our own.
And also we have George Bush.
