I am having trouble trying to connect my HP 2355 all-in-one printer to my PC. I have Windows XP. It is a remanufactured printer-scanner-copier I purched a few months ago. I've been trying to connect it to my computor/ a compaq 7550. The printer/scanner came with a macintosh disk, which does not work with my windows xp. What can I do to get my printer hooked up so I can download items I need??

HP is very good about drivers for their products.

Login to www.hp.com and look for support.

You need to go to HP website and let them know what model printer you have. They should let you download the software and drivers from there.

http://www.hp.com (look under software and driver downloads) you will see that on the left below.

Hope that helps.

p.s. Be sure you follow instructions. Don't try to install software unless you have everything disconnected from your printer. Wait until it tells you to plug in usb and power and insert cartridges. I just reinstalled mine and found that to be really important
