Where can you get a copy of my background check?

I am trying to find out what employers see when they do a background check. Does anyone know where I can go to get one or how to request one?

There are many companies that provide background checks. Unless you know the vendor used by the employer, you might not get the same information. You might try asking the employer for a copy. Some states give you the right to inspect your personnel file and/or make copies of documents.
