This has always posed a problem for fruit growers and from what I have learned is that with anything you do besides putting up barriers nets etc. Is to keep switching tactics because the birds get comfortable with the deterrents. Use flapping strips of plastic for a couple of days maybe switch to aluminum pie pans banging in the breeze, bring out the fake owls, etc. Get some cats? Good luck

My mom ties thick metallic ribbon (for gift wrapping) all over the tree. The flicker in the wind and the reflection scares the birds away.

Try tieing some reflective pie plates among the vines so they blow. It seems to work for us in our back yard we have wild scupernongs growing. My husband put up an arbor and e got 60 gal. of wine and jelly. Good Luck
