the area i wanna till the previous owner put in a SMALL cheap pond so theres th black paper that is all rotten and white rocks. but its all over grown with grass and weeds. will tilling ruin the blades because i need to rent a tiller and dont wanna pay any fees for damage but dont wanna pay hundreds to get it cleared professionally.

depends on how big the rocks are. smaller ones will just be tilled like dirt..big ones might bend em or mess em up some..

If its a front tine tiller, keep the handles pushed down and go slow at it.

it may bend the blades at worest, i would not be overly worried.
