Time is the only answer. In the meantime, while you're suffering, at least take some heart in the fact that most if not almost all people go through this at some point in their lives. We have all been through it. Some wounds don't heal, but a lot of people have been through that too. You will find that you will meet people who understand what you are going through and truly sympathise. There are no answers to this, but there are other things in life that are good and worthwhile -- good friends, pets, work, interests, art, travel, and so on -- there are other things besides romance in this world that make life really worth living.
Unfortunately, romance is one of the few things in this world that you can't control the success of by how much effort you put into it. With other things, if you apply yourself and try hard, you can usually make things better. In romance, that usually makes things worse.
I will spare you the usual, you'll find someone else, etc. (you will, but you don't want to hear that). Beyond merely meeting someone new, though, one other significant thing I have noticed about real heartbreak is that it invariably changes your life. You have to change to deal with it - and most of the time you become a better and different person because you have to come to terms with why the relationship failed. For most people I have known in this situation, it opens up their whole world. Sounds stupid, but while you're mulling over your break up, think of all the other things you will now do in your life because you knew this person but cannot be with them anymore.
You can always drown your sorrows by poking through every novel, movie, video, and song that has to do with tough break ups. You might find that will make you even more miserable, but it might be cathartic. You come out the other end, and can start living again. On the other hand, maybe you should just take a plane somewhere for a vacation. That is what a friend of mine did when she found out six months ago that the love of her life married someone else.
The alternative is distraction: work, sports, compulsive hobbies, but I prefer wallowing for the stage you're at. Wallow wallow wallow, stew in your own juices and don't worry about it. Then one day you will wake up and feel strangely better.

Broken skies, heartaches that flowers won't mend
Say goodbye knowing that this is the end
Broken heart find your way
Make it through just this day
Face the world on your own
Life will go on, life will go on
Holdin' on thought we still had a chance
Letting go this is the end of romance
Broken Dreams find your way
Make it through just this day
Face the world on your own
Life will go on, life will go on
There'll be blue skies
There'll be true love
Someday, I'll see you again
There'll be blue skies in a better world...Darlin'

Time is the best way, distraction is another. Stop thinking about the person. If you dwell on that person, you will never get over them. You need to find someone else, even if it is just a friend, to make you feel better and keep your mind off the one you love. It is hard, but it needs to be done and it does get better. Please believe me.

Pray to stop loving that person so deeply, and think about good moments that you lived with him/her in order to Analise if they were really honest and do the same with the bad moments to see the cause-effect on your personality and feelings, at the end be grateful because you loved somebody (even if that person didn't feel the same) and you were able to have that feeling, and say to yourself that next time would be better.
Also try to do charity, helps to help others
I did that, was hard and took time but at the end I did it!!!

It will take time. You should help your heart heal by writing down your feelings in a journal or by blogging. Going out with your platonic friends and just share your feelings and experiences.
Stay away from places where you and your Ex used to frequent. Don't rush into dating just yet, give it time. Cry if you must. Believe me, this too shall pass.
You will find love again!

I'm not sure how long it has been, but time is the best thing to help you get over someone. I know it's not the answer you want to hear but it works and if you allow yourself to love again, it will lessen the hurt on your heart now.

new interests will help, try to think about your life and what you really wanna do in terms of work, studies etc. Maybe you might wanna travel to somewhere you always dreamed off? then now maybe the time! or learn a new language? this may be now or never moment: discover you once again, and open new you to someone else for love

I wonder why your friends are not there to support you. Dont be lonely . Go into your wardrobe. If youve been doing a lot of thinking youll find that your best clothes now fit. go out there and party. there's someone even nicer waiting for you.
