I had a missed abortion and have been cramping, bleeding and passing clots since friday morning. I passed tissue saturday morning but not since then. I only get the cramping in the morning and night. Is my miscarriage still continuing and should I be worried?

First of all it depends on how far along you are. It also depends on if you had a D&C or not. If you did not have a D&C it can take weeks to a month for all the tissue to expel. My advice is to go see your OB/GYN. They can give you medication to help expel some of the tissue, and they can monitor you for infection. Sometimes if the tissue stays inside the body for too long your body considers it foreign material. Because of this you can develop high fevers, chills, abdominal pain, and even worse shock. If you don't want to have a D&C your doctor can monitor your blood counts for any signs of infection, and your hcg levels to see if they go down. PS It is okay to grieve!

I have had 2 miscarriages and the 1st required a D&C. The 2nd one i passed. I had cramping with both for like 5 days. If you do not ease up i would go to the doc. Something could be wrong, but the bleeding and cramping is normal. You r body is trying to go back to normal. Sorry about the misscariage. I know it is hard to deal with. God bless you!!!

You need to go to the doctor and have them check you out to make sure it is a full miscarriage, your body does not always pass everything on it's own you may need a d&c done. I'd go to the doctor first thing in the morning. If you don't get everything cleaned out you can end up with an infection and it can be VERY bad.

Please see a doctor at once--go to the ER if you have to. You may need to have a D & C to get rid of some tissue that is still attached and is leaking blood. If you let it go, you could damage your uterus and end up with an infection that could make it harder to get pregnant in the future, as well as making you sick now.
Good luck--I am saying a little prayer for you right now.

Go see you OB/GYN as soon as possible. If you develop fever, shaking chills, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, or just don't feel right, go to an ER as soon as possible. You may have retained tissues (incomplete abortion) that may serve as a focus of infection.

Even after the bleeding/cramping, spoting stops, go see your OB/GYN for a follow up appointment.

You may need a D&C. Go ahead and get an appointment and get checked. Your doctor will be able to tell you better then anyone else. A miscarriage can take several days though, either way, you NEED to get a doctor's opinion on this one.

Alot of it depends on how far along you were. For one thing you need to see a doctor if you haven't. Usually they cna clean you out. I had to have this done, then again I had amjor complications and was fairly far along. Right now your body is getting rid of everything naturally. If it goes on for longer than a week see a doctor. That means you could have an infection or bacteria.
