my husband and I were cleaning out my basement, yesterday, our basement leaks, so we threw out alot of things, and we had flies, so we put a raid strip up, i found alot of flies dead, but as I was cleaning them up, i noticed a brown (very small wormlike) dead something. Any clue on what it is, there were alot of them atleast 25, and that's only what I found so far.

Do they have a hard back and kinda curl? If so, these are commonly known as rolly polly's, I do not know the scientific name for them. They eat mold and mildew, and dead wood, which would be what attracted them to your basement, they like moisture.
Hold on, I will get a picture of them for you. Go to

for a picture of what I am talking about, and see if it is what you are talking about.

Sounds like fly pupae or maggots.

Maggots from the common housefly are white but if they die, they shrivel up and turn brown. Maggots from horseflies are way bigger, segmented and brown.

If the brown things were on the floor, they could be roleypoleys. They are like little worms with hard backs - small and brown and curled.
Nothing to hurt you. They just like damp places.

Flies in larvae state. They died before turning into flies.
