I don't think that surprises anyone. I think Bush is trying to start WWIII and thought this would be a good way to kick it off.

Nothing happens in the world anymore that George Bush and the US government doesn't get blamed for it. If little green men landed in Paris and blew up the Eiffel Tower it would be Bush's fault. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't listen to these jerks anymore.

Hezbollah started it by kidnapping Israeli soldiers, however, since America supports Israel I am sure there was some consultation between the countries.
