I wish LA had a team too. Thats part of the reason im a Niners fan. But LA is my birthplace so i will always love my Lakers. And people keep saying "LA wont support thier team". You guys dont know crap about LA! You should see how crazy it gets when the Lakers make the playoffs! Team owners see LA and they see money so they think they can charge an arm and a leg for tickets which makes it hard for a man to take his family to the game on sunday. All nfl teams suffer low attendence when they have a crappy season except for like Greenbay and Pittsburgh. But people in Greenbay and Pittsburgh have nothing better to do because they live in crappy towns so they might as well mortagage thier house for season tickets. The Raiders left LA a long time ago but look at what they did last season. You really think the "Raider Nation" showed up for a third rate 4-12 team? HA! What gets me is why do some towns continue to support crappy teams that will NEVER make it to Super Sunday?
Heres a list of some of those teams:
Browns
Cardinals
Saints
Bills
Lions
Jets

Screw LA! They don't support the teams they have! They're a college football and baseball town, especially given USC's success as of late. There's all kinds of room in California for football, but not BAD FOOTBALL and LACKING FAN SUPPORT! The Rams sucked after the last Super Bowl apperance in the 1970's. It wasn't until they got the HELL OUTTA LA that they had any success on a consistent basis. Any team without support will not be able to put a decent team on the field! Don't believe me? Look at the Cardinals! That franchise hasn't been worth a flying rat dump since they were in Chicago back when Christ was a corporal! Bad ownership, lacking support, not even changes in scenery have helped that bunch and LA is in the same boat. I suppose they'll be missing your support at ESPN on Monday nights! NOT!

They all ready previously had the L.A. Rams in the NFL for a while. I guess that did not work since the Rams are now in St. Louis. The Chargers were in Los Angeles, and they only lasted there for one year and then went on to San Diego in 1960. There was also the L.A. Raiders for a couple years, and then they moved to Oakland. So my answer is that Los Angeles should not get a NFL Football team. They could not handle the Rams, Chargers, and the Raiders. How can they handle another team?

Not missing football. But I agree with you I can't believe L.A. doesn't have a football team. I remember them as a kid L.A. Rams with Roman Gabriel and the fearsom 4 some. L.A needs a team.
Go Bears!!

not me, I'm not willing to go on strike for the rest of my life for monday night football. San Diego isn't that far away. You got three teams in that state, find one.

Los Angeles didn't support the teams they had, so why do they deserve a team?
Sooner or later they will get one, but their track record isn't too great.

If L.A gets a team are you going to buy season tickets. If not then you cant't cry about not having a team. No one is going to put a team in LA if no one will go to the games.

i don't care about l.a., and if they supported their teams better at least one would have stayed, but i will join your strike till they get rid Joe theismann, the only time i want to see him on t.v. is when l.t. broke his leg, i could watch that all day
