I had this when I was 12 and 13. But everyday for about a year or 2. Every morning I woke up with one that nothing helped. But I went to the dentist and told them this, since I thought I might be grinding my teeth. Turned out I was clenching them. I got a mouthguard fitted and I haven't gotten a headache since. Try that.

Also, don't go to bed so late or sleep in late, eaither. I used to go to bed at 2 and sleep in till 1, that will give you head and neck aches even if you use a mouthguard. Just because you get stiff sleeping so long.

Actually it can be -- forehead pain is the least likely place for pain that signals a serious problem.

What you describe could be caused by sinus pain/pressure, pain from braces (if you have them), tension, or hormone shifts.

Head pain that you need to be concerned about would limit your activity, cause vision distrurbances, or effect your balance, appetite, or ability to concentrate. If these are not the case, don't worry. But please, by all means, share this with a parent so they can make the best decision for you :)

It could be hormonal.

The #1 hormone - because it can affect the production of all the other hormones - is insulin. Ask your doctor for a fasting insulin blood test . Ask for a copy of your results. 10 or higher is abnormal for an adult.

You may want to check out www.hufa.org, and click on the symptoms link to check yourself out. Especially click on the pain link as it may help you "fix" yourself.

Tylenol can give you a rebound headache, meaning the headache goes away after you take the medicine and then comes back the next day. Caffiene, chocolate and cheese can give you problems. Hormones can give you a headache but they usually go away after a day or so when the "cycle" has shifted. Call your doctor.

You are probably suffering from migranes. You should consult with a doctor for proper diagnosis, and proper medication, which may be over the counter.
