Loreal, I've tried the Bare Escentuals & it's ends up making me look uneven & greasy. I've heard good things about the Loreal one, that it gives better coverage & not greasy. There's also one called Everyday Minerals where you can get a free m/up kit just pay S&H. I just received my samples recently & love them. Great way to try for less than $4. Plus if you do like it their prices are great & their customer service is the best!

I would buy L'Oreal's for two reasons: You may not even LIKE mineral powder foundation (it doesn't work at all for me, and I've tried several including these two) and you won't have spent so much money. You get the powder AND brush for around $12.
Also, L'Oreal's is matte, while Bare Minerals has a lot of mica in it so it's sparkly in the sunlight. Definitely not "bare" or "natural." They do work about the same, except for this.

Try the Bare Esscentuals, I love it! I actually tried the loreal version, because I wanted something to touch up with that I could keep in my purse, it did not even compare.

try loreal. if it doesn't work like you expected, then try bare essentials. if you're still hesitant about buying the pricier stuff, try neutrogena mineral powder (i think that's the name of it-it's in a tube with a brush).i've been using it for a while. it doesn't give full coverage, but it's light and easy to apply.

Bare essentials cause L'oreal does animal testing. but im not sure if bare essentials does too. Animal testing if cruel and they don't always use rats they mainly use cats and dogs.
