A cute kid like you doesn't need a pick up line. But you do need some type of opening statement. Like Hi i'm KC and its very nice to meet you. Then look them in the eyes and smile, never look at their boobs.

Why do guys seem to think that they should have a pick-up line? All the ones I have heard have been lame! Be open and honest - a line shows no creativity and are in general.. boring.

A friend & I were just having this discussion the other day. I believe that if a guy walked up to a girl and said something really flattering, like "you are so beautiful", or "you have beautiful eyes", that she would be flattered. I think pick up lines only work if a girl finds the guy attractive and at that point, as long as he doesn't stay something stupid, he's probably going to be successful.

don't use them. just learn how to make good conversation with a woman. pick up lines, no matter how funny, end up coming off as rehearsed, cheesy, and stupid. since most guys try to use pick up lines, maybe you can stand out in a crowd by not using any! just compliment so it sounds sincere. at a club or a bar, girls just seem to laugh at guys and walk away. girls in the bathroom talk about "that stupid pick up line he said". "what a dork!" "What a dumbass!"--this is what girls say behind your back.

Pick up lines don't work. Showing some interest in us as a person, and not just a piece of a** does work.

Just try being honest and genuine. How about,"I saw you from across the room, and I thought that I would like to meet you. My name is......." Any intelligent girl is going to be turned off immediately if she hears a rehearsed "pick-up line".
Be honest. Be yourself. Don't put on airs. She'll see right through it!

Wow...this is actually a tough one! I think if you would say something like: "I know whatever may come out of my mouth might sound like a line, but I know I would regret it if I didn't come over and at least say hi to you". That may bring her defenses down enough for you to start a conversation.

the best thing to do is pick out something very specific about the woman and compliment her on it. it could be her eyes or smile. noticing and commenting on a unique accessory she's wearing (jewelry, earrings etc) can be a good conversation starter and let's a girl know you aren't just checking out her bod.
