She should schedule an MRI of her head to look for a possible aneurysm. From the sound of it, anything that causes her blood pressure to escalate above normal is causing some kind of abnormality to become noticeable. Right now it sounds like a borderline issue, but left unchecked could turn into a blowout.
Better safe than sorry,

I have heard of this, you best get her to a doctor asap or go straight to the hospital if you think the doctor will dismiss it. Dont put it off, it could be nothing just the blood rushing to her head, but its better to be safe than sorry. anything to do with the head and brain should definately be checked out good luck my best wishes for you both x

i had all the MRI scans CAT scans and all done..its due to the blood pressure in the back of the neck the vessel's narrow and the blood finds it hard to get to the brain..there's not enough oxygen going through to the brain....it can happen at any time but more often when ur under stress or exercise...i always get a headache after sex i never taught of sex causing it..but you should get her to get it checked out just to put your minds at rest...she needs your support too and understand what she is going through...because my god its the worse headache ever...i hope this helped let me know how she gets ok...

I truthfully don't know how to answer your question, but I just wanted to say that I hope she's ok. Good luck getting everything figured out though. Check with a doctor just in case...

this happens to me too. right after sex I get a horrible crushing pain!! if I concentrate on breathing deeply for a 5 to 10 seconds, it goes away. but they are scary!! I HOPE it is nothing too!! since this has been happening to me for about 20 years, I think it is o.k. (If it makes you feel any better, this happens when the sex is excellent !)

I've really never heard of this, but if she is orgasming, could the headache be from increased blood pressure?

It could be a blood flow problem or it could be nothing. You won't know for sure unless you see a doc, though.
