What is the Democrat's plan for America?

Which Democrat has articulated it? Pretty much all I hear is Bush-bashing which doesn't give me any reason at all to vote Democratic. What do they stand for and how will they get there?

i have asked many liberals this question....it is the same as republican in some areas,,,except fighting terror, their view on fighting terror is weak, more on the lines of appeasement....they will never admit the economy is good,,usually the pat answer is.."we can do it better"....i have read...their " a new direction for America, it states nothing about national security or fighting terror...they are usually weak on any kind of defense, but they have always been weak in that area...as far as poverty...they support the "welfare state"...they promote the idea of career welfare recipients.....they will definitely raise taxes so as to keep promoting "social programs", which "enables" career welfare recipients.

Politicians are, as far as I'm concerned , only interested in one thing, or rather two things: Power and Money, but not necessarily in that order. In other words, that is not the kind of question that anyone should ask anyway, since discussing politics or religion do not get you anywhere. Just be reassured that there is not a single politician the world that cares about anything but themselves-recent and current problems are all the proof you need! Or have you seen anything , and I mean anything, in this Country improve lately? I rest my case!!!

1) Tax the top ten percent of wage-earners in the U.S. until there is no blood left in their veins and re-distribute it according to the recommendations of a government committee.

2) Reduce the size and scope of the Armed Forces. Take the money saved and re-distribute it as detailed above.

3) In the belief that all people are stupid, implement as many laws as possible to guide the behavior of the American people. After all, members of Congress pay no Social Security tax (did you know that?), but that's because they're smart enough to know how to provide for themselves in old age. The rest of us are idiots, and must have contributions compelled from us.

How would we know?? They don't even know themselves. You can be sure, however, that any plan they come up with will result in bigger government and higher taxes. They are great at spending our money by creating new programs that never work. Hopefully we will be spared of their failed "leadership" after the next elections.
