While researching various issues on the internet, I have discovered that the information is always conflicting and historical events that have occurred during my lifetime are reported quite differently from what I remember. Important events are often excluded if they shed an unpleasant light on one side or the other. I also find that, in place of reporting, there are a few names and dates and too many descriptive adjectives. There is abundant use of words like EVIL and FASCIST. and a marked lack of real information. The reader often chooses the articles that fit within their psycological schemata and will never get a full picture. Then, S/he espouses the views mistakenly developed from this practice. How can we stay clear enough to really see the truth?

iIt's propaganda, countries or governments can't have their people going against them, it's dangereous, every country has it's own propaganda. Propaganda allows for nationalism, which can be very strong. What do you think helped the weak U.S. win it's independence from the strong Britain? It's nationalism, and no country can afford losing it. Everything you read is basically propaganda, if you've grown up here in the U.S., you will find that your history books are practically filled with news that helps side the United States. This helps physcologically to promote a country, and raise Nationalism! It's all about suppport for ones country!

C-Span aired this in late June. You need to watch it, discuss it with others and share this with everyone you can.
I don't want to see any comments until 1,5 hrs from now. If you can't watch the the show, then your post is meaningless. Any negative posts need to be backed up please.
I know the truth is scary but we all need to wake up to it.
Watch the damn show!

No because history is always written by the victor, so it will always be tainted to that point of view.
