I played little league, jr high, high school, and 2 years of college football and never wore a cup and was never injured in that area. I also saw very very few others players ever wear one. About the only position I'd say might need to wear a cup is RB simply because you're getting hit many times when you're in ackward positions and unable to protect yourself

I played 5 years of football and never wore a cup and never had any problems. Its a comfort issue and I dident feel like I could play as well with one on. Most NFL position players don't.

of course you can get seriosuly injured if you don't have a cup, but the majority of football players don't wear them. it's usually an issue of comfort and/or mobility

i never got hurt in ten years without wearing one, but a teammate of mine went to block a punt, dove to far, and the punter kicked with all his force in the nards, long story short, he only has one now. I bet he would recommend you wear one

think about it. do you want children. do you want to ever enjoy anything there again. protect the important stuff. just wear the cup.

umm why would they have them if you didnt need them. wear it or find out the hard way how you can beat up your boys
