Importance of Studies?

i need to write a speech about the importance of studies which is to be delivered to yr 9 as audience, so can someone plz help me?!?!

by the way, yr 9 means 9th graders, not 9 year olds....

Do you mean 9th graders? Or 9 year olds? Either way, you can emphasize the importance of a good education for getting a job, buying things you want, understanding important things to help you in life, etc.

One thing you should include is that it's interesting to learn new things. Pick some really bizarre & cool facts suitable for 9 yr olds but relatied to school subjects and use them in your speech, saying that by studying they can learn cool things like that. Another thing you should include is that in order for them to get a good job in the future, they need to work hard in school. To make this more interesting for kids, say some cool jobs like astronaut, etc. and say how they couldn't have that job if they never studied. If you can make a few jokes to keep their attention, that would spice up the speech. And the main thing is to be friendly and speak on their level. Good luck!
