If this question was written by a prof I would get a refund for the tuition. What University are you attending? Seriously, a person's ABILITY to learn is the same as a person's appitude. The media does not have power over a person's natural abilitites.

Exposure to media can certainly affect what a student learns - news versus Sponge Bob. Exposure may distract students from learning or affect the way in which they learn best.

If you find real research that supports the posistion that media affects ability to learn please email it to me!

well..internet access gives students great resources to do quick searches about anything!!! However, I believe that tv and magazines send the message that learning isn't important any more.
