Okay. The most effective way to hit someone off the puck is to simply check their arms. Im 5'7 and i play junior a hockey, yes a huge hit will knock someone off the puck, but lets be real about the situation. Force the player with the puck towards the boards, angle him off and then place your body right at his arms (check his arms) you seperate him and the puck because without his arms he cant do anything, and you dont have to be 6'0 to do it effectively. Its not a very big hit because all your doing is seperating his body and the puck but it works. I do it everynight against guys who are twice my height and it works almost everytime. You just need to get the timing down...

You are possibly in the same vessel as a large proportion of sports gamblers up and down the united states that are losing way more than they actually win. You may have the occasional win that keeps you finding its way back for more, but the majority of the time your selections lose. And that costs you actually more cash! If you wish to put the finish at this issue then you must look here https://tr.im/yCz7j .
With Zcodes you can get the device tips so that you can get the bets and more.
Zcodes System also carries a really active community that also weighs in and allows there two dollars about each game. Maybe there is a vital injury Zcodes doesn't know about. No concerns, the community customers allow you to know before you set your expense down.

Kind of depends on where you are and where they are, and where you want the puck to go and where you want them to go.
Like the other gal who answered, I don't (technically) play check hockey.
If I hit, it's in retaliation, not to get the puck, and I've already planned to take the penalty.
I rely on being faster, getting in front of them and cutting them off. If I'm close to the boards, I'll drive them into the boards (without physically pushing them there), then grind, because I can usually win a battle there.
Open ice, retaliation hit I'll use a hip check because it doesn't mean I'm bringing my stick up or leaving the ice, and is least obvious to the ref (hopefully).

I play hockey so I can easily say to put the big ol shoulder on his jaw is the best bet to get him off the puck.

well iam a girl hockey player and as u no we cant check
BOO!
but my favorite way is to "accidentally" run into them....aka check them because it removes the puck carrier from the play and gives ur team time to come back so yeah

As a hip check specialist, I would bend my knees and approach him, stick that hip out and send him for a ride!

Shoulder to the chest is always the best - or hip check if you can line it up.
