Thank you, Thank you! I could not agree more or could have said it better. Joe has always gotten on my nerves and Tony well, what can I say...who cares. It was like watching a Sunday night game. Monday night football will never be the same.
The ONLY thing worse that ESPN could have done would have been to put a woman in the booth. ,, ha. (sad but true)
The comments weren't interesting or informative. If anyone knows where I can sign up to protest let me know.
My husband says that he refuses to listen to them and we will turn the sound off. I say not watch at all and get the ratings down so that they will do something about it!

I hated the "new" MNF.
The way they cut away to show interviews, the announcers or those stupid questions from people at home. They cut away for that every 2 freakin plays. Then commercials every 3 mins. I was going CRAZY. If I wanted to watch 10+ interviews, I'd tune in to after game chat shows. Just show the football game ESPN!!!
I won't even get into how stupid the score keeping thing is. If ESPN keeps this up, I'll end a lifelong tradition of catching MNF every week. Bums me out because a good MNF match could always make a bad monday so much better

I made the same comment about the clock in the first quarter, middle of a play it stays there, very annoying. Theisman is a horrible announcer. It is not a good move to have it on ESPN.

Tirico is good, Kornheiser is better suited for PTI, and Theismann is a jackass who is too full of himself. I agree about the clock in the middle of the screen, bad decision..not a good first impression overall...

I don't think the announcing is that bad, considering this is the first game they've done together. But the scoreboard sucks. You're right, it's very distracting right there in the middle of screen.

The score board is driving me insane. I learned a trick trying to avoid that loud college basketball announcer. Turn down your tvs volume and listen to the announcers on the radio!

It isent great but it won't keep me from watching. Personally I would watch NFL football if my high school phy ed teacher was doing the announcing just like he did at the HS games. It is the game thats fun too watch the presentation is just bonus.
