She should be 99% safe (Practically no chance of pregnancy). The emergency tablets that she took is a very strong dose of birth control and birth control pills usually make sure that people don't get pregnant but it also prevents periods.
Your girlfriend might not get her period until next month. In the mean time just get a pregnancy test to be sure. If you still have doubts, go to the doctor and get checked out. If your girlfriend is over 18 no information will be given to her parents unless she wants that.

The morning after pill in my opinion has not been out long enough to know how well it works but if she followed the directions it should work. I know from experience that being nervous about being pregnant can make your period late. She can take a pregnancy test. You can take one up to 5 days before missed period. I would reccommend from now on when you have sex that you use a spermicide plus the condom. They sell all kinds over the counter in the same isle as condoms. you insert it and then wait like 15 minutes before intercourse. They work great my husband and I used them for 11 years and I did not get pregnant. once I stopped using them I got Pregnant the same month. I hope this helps

If her period is usually that far apart (31 days) the chance of her getting pregnant on day 29 is quite slim to begin with.
With the emergency pills, though I don't know a great deal about them, I think the chances are next to nothing.
Her egg is released 14 days before the beginning of the next period, and sperm and egg can each live for a few days. That's why there's almost no chance on day 29. But if her period comes after 12 days one month, then 35 days the next, it's a great deal more difficult to determine when ovulation (the egg being released) occurs.

I am not an expert, but what I have researched, pregnancy occurs during the time of ovulation...around day 14, and at that, their is only a 12-24 hour time frame that she could possibly get pregnant. (a cycle consist generally of 28 days) I would say you're safe. The emergency tablets could also throw her period off a little bit.

that's what the pills are for... to stop pregnancy before it even starts. i wouldn't worry about it. many things can change a female's period such as stress, change in diet, excersizing, etc.
don't worry about it, stop stressing over it. i suggest taking birth control pills as well use condoms, and be a little more careful next time.

i don't see why it wouldn't be safe. after a stressful situation, a womans period can be late. also, the chemicals in the day after pills could have altered her period. i am not a doctor but don't see why she would be pregnant.

the morning after pill is highly effective, so there shouldn't be a problem. It's most effective when taken as soon as possible after intercourse.
